About the Book
The author, now 90, has memories from age 3. Though a retired licensed psychologist, he is also an amateur historian. His career included teaching history, and administration of psychological services in schools in his native Missouri, in the DC are, and in Honolulu. Though not a scientist, Fischlowitz has had a life-long interest in the ways scientific and technical innovations affect our culture and our daily lives. He has written books of poetry, short stories, and a biography of his wife, a child Holocaust survivor. He is now retired in Honolulu, HI.
About the Author
Merle Fischlowitz has visual memories of various technologies he has witnessed and used, from 1935 through current times. He had a career as history teacher and as psychologist, closely involved with changes in communications, computers, home appliances, and more. Merle has previously published poetry, short stories, and biography. The motivation of this book is to get the youngest generation to be aware of the changes in technology as they mature.
