Pike Book Moment #1: Just then, I turned my head slightly to the right and saw Lou Ferrigno sitting at his booth. I smiled and gasped in excitement. “It’s Lou Ferrigno,” I said. I walked up to him and shook his hand and asked for a picture. When I paid for the photo, he got up out of his seat and I gave the staff my phone and he put his left hand on my left shoulder and his right fist on my chest and I smiled real big and so did he. Book Moment #2: When the weekend arrived, I gave Bryan my address and they headed over to pick me up so we could all hang out. When I walked to the gate, I waited there for about 15 minutes for them to get me and I was beginning to think they would ditch me and hang out with their other friends. Five minutes later, I saw a red car pull up next to me and I saw it was them picking me up from the front gate and I got excited that I got to hang out with them and we all headed over there to have lunch. I thought it was a good day that I got to hang out with my two best friends. We arrived at my work and started to sit at a booth and munch on some bread. We ordered food and chatted for a while about what we all were doing after high school. While we were eating Bryan told me he was going to move to Orlando with his girlfriend. I thought it was going to be sad for me to see some of my good friends like him go even if he were still in the state. Bryan wasn’t going to move until August and I thought we would have time to hang out again before he moved. I didn’t want him to leave because he was my good friend along with Mikey, but I should realize that not everyone can live at their current home forever and I needed to accept that. While we were eating lunch some of my co-workers stopped by my table to greet me while we were eating. I thought to myself that I was pretty cool to hang out with my friends at work on my day off.

He battles the system and wins to become a REGULAR guy.
About the Author
Zachary Pike was born in Connecticut but calls Florida his home. He hates mushrooms and tomatoes but loves broccoli and salmon. When he isn’t working (he holds down two jobs), he is busy keeping his condo spic-and-span and playing games on his Nintendo Switch or his retro Gameboy®.
Zach likes Marvel and DC Comics, Stan Lee (RIP), and his favorite superheroes are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. His favorite movie is “The Karate Kid.”
He’s excited about his new car which he drives to work and school. Zach treasures the friends who have remained in his life and he likes to spend time with them watching football, grilling burgers, or throw down gaming challenges.
Zach is diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome – now generalized as ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). He lives with his mother, travels with his father, and his plans always include the next comic convention, becoming a cameraman for a local news station, and Star Wars® and Harry Potter® rides at Orlando theme parks. He also wants to go to Japan to experience Anime®.
