Their new support and strength will come from their willingness to learn and adapt to the orders and instructions that will be given by their drill sergeants. what they will be learning, is that, old things have passed away and to obtain this new way of living. The old must be released and the new must be ascertained. As a new soldier go through these life skilled trainings, he will learn determination, focus, team work, discipline, temperance and how important it is to follow and obey instructions. This is why we are comparing a soldier with discipleship. One will need such focus and discipline in his or her pursuit in becoming well-rounded.
