About the Book

This book is a conversation starter for every family of a 7-9 year old. Brian meets an elderly man and has lots of fears about him. He discovers many attributes that make him unique and they become friends. Brian also gains some independence in walking in his neighborhood in safe ways. He teaches himself to pick up dog waste with out touching it. It can be a good read aloud together or be read independently Every family needs this in their library.

A follow up book, called “Now it’s Sadie and Me” digs deep into what a child goes through when encountering death for the first time. Be looking for it.

About the Author

Pam grew up in Midwest Ohio, got a degree from Kent State University in Elementary and Special Education. She moved to Colorado where she got her MA from the University of Colorado. She later became certified as a School Counselor. She has been an educator for more than 30 years. She raised two children ( who are now both teachers) and is proud to be Grandma to 4 grandkids whom she adores (4- 18 years of age). When she retired, she taught English in Hungary and Costa Rica. She now is happily living in Colorado and is excited about her first children’s book, She would love to write more books as children and writing are her passion. Bella Maher is a talented young artist in Pakistan. She is currently working with Fiver-Freelance Services. She is easy to work with and speaks English very well.
