THIS BOOK IS A TRUE MEMOIR DEDICATED TO MY EXPERIENCE WITH A COMPLICATED NARCISSISTIC COLUMBIAN MAN WHOSE LIFE WAS SHARED WITH ME FOR A BRIEF PERIOD OF TIME. AN UNUSUAL ENCOUNTER THAT HAS FOREVER CHANGED MY LIFE. WHAT STARTED AS A BRIEF ENCOUNTER TURNED INTO A PASSIONATE AND FRIGHTENING EXPERIENCE THAT I NEVER SAW COMING. TO THIS DAY I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED TO ME AND IT TOOK MY BREATH AWAY. HIS ANGER, JEALOUSY AND CONTROL WERE OUR UNDOING. HIS DESIRE TO BE ALL HE COULD BE KEPT ME ENGAGED LONG AFTER I SHOULD HAVE BEEN AND BECAME DETRIMENTAL TO MY EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH. I DID ALL I COULD DO TO HELP HIM AND IT ALMOST CRIPPLED ME EMOTIONALLY.

About the Book
This book encapsulates how this young Columbian man swept through my life like a tornado. Elian had the ability to corner me with a hot sexual encounter that changed my life. With my intellect and background, I should have been able to spot the flaws in his personality and back away-but that never happened. The crucial dynamics of his life were hidden from me. He would share information slowly so that I could digest the information without running away. As time went by, through his narcissistic and manipulative ways he made sure that I became more attached to him. When I would start to back away, he would demoralize me and at the same time tighten the web. The tighter the bond became he knew he had me-or so he thought.
About the Author
My career was in securities portfolio management and I was a prior owner of an investment advisory firm. Analyzing the needs of our clients and determining their investment risk was the first step in our relationship. The results were a direct reflection of their personality, financial experience, personal circumstances, and assets to be managed. So, you can imagine I thought I would be able to analyze this man and see what I was getting myself into. Not in my wildest dreams did I ever think he would be able to possess me the way he did. I hope this book brings knowledge and awareness to anyone who may become involved with a narcissist. If I can save one person from a devastating emotional experience then I feel I have accomplished my end goal.
