During a weekend retreat, I joined a tour led by a longtime friend, only to find him absent, replaced by his assistant. As we lingered behind the cathedral, he regaled me with chilling accounts of a possible serial killer haunting the city. Tales of missing souls, some discovered bound in abandoned warehouses, stirred a deep unease within me. The eerie refrain, "No body, no crime," echoed in my mind, sparking a genuine curiosity. Returning to my hotel, I plunged into research, unearthing a labyrinth of leads. Eager to share my discoveries, I confided in my friend David, who shared my intrigue.
