About the Author

Completion of ‘Manzanar’ into the trilogy of Dr. Wayne Williams’ previous offerings of the books ‘Kissing the Hand of the Dead’ and ‘Stop da Warz’ creates a magnum opus based on our collective endeavors to create peace and harmony for a change. Environmentalist, Botanist and International Developer, specializing in Apples and many other horticultural crops, Wayne travelled the world working with the poorest of the poor in sixteen countries and six war zones. Helping all kinds of people, from the lepers in the central city dump of Guatemala, to serving as an advisor to presidents and ambassadors, Dr. Williams blends the stoicity of science and philosophy with hands in the dirt aspects of agriculture, needed to create contemplative routes to inner satisfaction. Wayne has published extensively in scientific literature, won several awards for his botanical and environmental accomplishments and continues to play the piano as much as possible enjoying life with his family and friends.
