HE BLACK GOD MAN opens with the birth of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu in 1918,in the costal remote town of Biakpan in Cross River state of Nigeria. His life journey to Calabar where he established his religious organisation called Brotherhood of the cross and star. the entire story ofthis man gets twisted when he turns 80 years of age and his children started a bitter struggle of who to succeed him. The scheemings to take over takes a dangerous dimension with his first son expeling his first daughter and second son out of the kingdom which let to a split and sebsequent fights that will last over 24 years. The book becomes even more interesting as his son bigins to have amorous relationship with the virgin servants he inherited from his father. Further twist comes when he marries of the virgins and other concubines who had children for the man believed by followers to be the returned Christ begin to plot the take over of the reigns of power by their sons as the death of the current Olumba is anticipated.

Olumba Olumba Obu is Nigerian religious leader who founded the Brotherhood of the cross and star in 1956 and called it the Kingdom of God on earth. he was believed to be the promised Comforter, returned Christ and God almighty. About the Author
King Asu was a former President of the Association of Brotherhood Academic Scholars at the University of Calabar, Ordained a True Chriat Witness of the fold in 2014 and appointed Technical Director of the Starcross Television, the BCS own Evangelical TV. In 2020, he was appointed managing Director of the Starcross Television and ordained Patriarch Christ Shepherd, the highest rant in the Brotherhood of the cross and star before his resignation in October 2022. He is an authority on the BCS history having been a member for 33 years.
