About the Book

The day a person becomes a Christian, they have declared unknowingly a war against the forces of darkness. The first battle they will engage in is spiritual warfare against every evil spirit they have encountered before giving up their lives to Jesus. For instance, if they were gossipers before, the spirit of gossiping will rage a war against them, trying to win them back into their old habits. If they were sexually immoral before their conversion, all the sexual demons in their location would fiercely engage in a spiritual battle to return them to sexual immorality. When they managed to win those battles, other evil forces could turn against them when they were doing good. Witches and wizards study the stars in the sky to foretell the future of the people around them. A Christian with a witch or a wizard in his family or neighborhood must prepare for a spiritual battle. This book is an eye-opener and a preparation for a Christian who will see himself in the middle of spiritual warfare.

About the Author

Philip C Sossou was very fascinated with literature at an early age. He holds a master’s in African Literature from the University of Lomé. In grad school, he led exciting research on African means of transmitting cultural values from one generation to another. In his early academic life, Philip was influenced by famous African authors like Chinua Achebe, Ngugi wa Thiongo, and Ayi Kwei Armah. Later in life, at El Camino College, he embraced well-known American writers: Helen Keller, Paul Anderson, and Henry James. Philip learned from them the art of creating images with words. He wrote a dynamic critique, “Daisy Miller” by Henry James, to give his students the desire to venture into Literature. As a schoolteacher, Philip Sossou lured many of his students to build their skills in writing essays and dissertations.
