About the Book

We are living in a time where our Nation seems to be coming apart at the seams. Everything around us looks dim and grim. During times like this it is easy to lose hope and grow weary. This book is designed to bring hope to the hopeless and encouragement to those navigating through the difficulties of life. Each day contains a thought- provoking devotion along with a meditation page allowing the reader to document what God speaks to their heart as they ponder His word and apply it to their daily living. In this world we have tribulation, but we also have a Heavenly Father who loves us and promises to provide for us in every circumstance—He alone is our living hope.

About the Author

A current resident of Gates County, North Carolina, Connie Smithson also worked in the Rural County for many years as a CPS Investigator/ Social Worker and Domestic Violence advocate. She graduated from College of the Albemarle with an Associates of Arts Degree, as well as Elizabeth City State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree, Connie went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Criminal Justice at Kaplan University.
