You have a
Versatile philosophy
You don’t really stick to just one approach to the writing process. When you have to, you’ll write according to your principles. You’ll create a schedule and follow it rigidly. Writing becomes your entire life. The words “chart,” “outline,” and “backstory” give you great joy. But whenever you become a creature of habit, you can be wound up a little too tightly. You need to come to terms with the fact that anything less than perfect doesn’t automatically spell doom.
On another day, you might write according to your needs. You’ll take more time with your words. You’ll put your day job first and give yourself a few hours to write at night, although you often overdo it and lose sleep.
The next week, you might write according to your impulses. Your mantra becomes “write now, edit later.” The word count is all that matters. However, you might run out of steam quickly and become vulnerable to writer’s block in this state.
Your versatility usually gets the job done, but it can take a lot of energy from you. Find a support system like a writing circle where you can learn which approach to the writing process works best for your fellow writers.
