About the Author

Diane DeCola was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  She grew up in South Philadelphia.  She has four children, and eight grandchildren.  She lives in Downingtown, Pennsylvania with Jack, her husband of forty-two years.

She has taken writing courses and is a graduate of the Institute of Children’s Literature.  She recently had a children’s science article on butterflies published in the children’s magazine Kid Zone.

This is her debut children’s novel.

She loves telling stories to her grandchildren.  They give her the inspiration to continue writing.
