About the Book

Finally able to move to the university town where his beloved Rachel is enrolled as a nursing student, Bobby Garrett experiences pleasures he heretofore could only imagine. With the availability of his inheritance he has no difficulty adapting to the plan Rachel suggests for them to pursue their individual dreams together.

Except for the distraction of an intimidation attempt by a university official, Bobby and Rachel develop what others see as an almost perfect relationship, until the catastrophic occurrence that will change Bobby’s life forever.

About the Author

With this third book, R.R. Emmett continues to create the fictional life of Bobby Ray Garrett. Upon questioning, Emmett admits there may be some similarity in the trials and challenges the protagonist faces, to those he himself encountered during the early years of his own life. He is, however, quick to point out that he has a vivid imagination, which helps him to embellish the situations.

Presently working on the fourth segment of this chronicle, the retired banker and his wife Peggy, still reside in Indiana near several members of their large family.
