A Brotha Got Played

My girl just left me and I don’t know what else to do,

She just got up and left just like a cloud in the sky,

She didn’t even give me an explanation or reaso why,

I got mad that I could feel my hand ball into a fist,

I felt betrayed and wanted to ask her

“How could you do this?”

Knowing her, she would’ve said

I wasn’t treating her right,

But how could that be,

I took her on a cruise, to the mall,

Even bought her a big screen TV.

I don’t know why she’ll say that I treated her wrong,

I let this girl stay rent-free in my home,

And I didn’t even mind

When she charge long distance on my phone.

I found out the relationship between her parents was torn,

I consoled her while she grieved and mourned,

Even offered to send her on a cruise to Cape Horn,

And do you think she appreciated it,

I wouldn’t think so,

I even offered to accompany her

But she told me, “NO.”

I just felt like I was being used,

But this girl was very hard to refuse,

So when I overheard her talking to her friends

I was confused,

But I got the picture when I came home and saw the news.
