Yesterday I was trying to cut my apple in half and Mama said, "Here, let me help you with that. You're TOO LITTLE to work with sharp knives. But today I got into my little sister's crib to play dolls and Papa said, "Come out of there Kajsa! You're TOO BIG to be in bed with the baby." I wish everyone would make up their minds. I know! I am going to take a survey. I am going to ask everyone today if I am a BIG GIRL or a LITTLE GIRL."

About the Book
Originally I wrote "KAJSA IN THE MIDDLE" because I could find nothing on the store shelves to celebrate Kajsa's beautiful name. But writing about her sensitized me to her middle child challenges. Kajsa struggled to keep up with her older sister and looked over her shoulder at the baby who was now the youngest. In book #3, "KAJSA …BIG GIRL OR LITTLE GIRL" we see Kajsa grow in the realization that her place in her family is the perfect place to blossom into all that she can be. Kajsa is able in her childlike transparency to voice what we all wonder, "Am I There Yet?" In "KAJSA…BIG GIRL OR LITTLE GIRL" you might see a reflection of yourself, even at your age.
About the Author
I have been a nurse for over 40 years and as I looked ahead to retirement I didn’t think it would be boring but little did I know I would be writing books about my beautiful granddaughters. However the idea was planted about 20 years ago. I was lunching with a couple other nurses and someone asked, "If you were financially free would you still be a nurse?" One spoke up and said, "I've always wanted to run a restaurant." Around the table everyone but me knew exactly what they would do if free to choose a new life path. I was the only one who was at a loss and on the way home I was speaking to The Lord. "I'm such a work horse. What would I do if I was financially free. Don’t I even have any dreams?" I heard His Voice in my Mind in that special way He talks to me: "i have some books in you". I was instantly at peace. I tucked that away…..some day I will write books. By the way, Im still working part time so I can write a series for each of my 3 granddaughters. I havent reached that place of financial freedom but I have realized a dream.
