Every year, around October, Farmer Joe would would come and take the scarecrows to his barn to repair them. This time Joe came as usual and took them away. But he forgot to take the smallest one, Skaggy, who was sleeping!
Later that night, Skaggy woke up. "Arrrrgggghhh! They're gone! He thought. "I know, they're playing hide and seek, I'll go and find them!
He started to look near the field. On his way he met Wendy the witch.
"Have you seen my family?" asked Skaggy.
"No." said Wendy. "But if you see me again, say 'hi friend'.
He met Jackie the Jack-o-lantern in the pumpkin patch.

About the Book
One Halloween… on a cold dark night…Farmer Joe went to take his scarecrows to the barn to repair them. In a rush, he left behind the youngest scarecrow, who was sound asleep. At midnight little Skaggy awoke…to find his family gone! He set out on an adventure to find them.
Join Skaggy as he searches through the dark, looking for his wonderful family. Wander through the pumpkin patch, into caves, even through a graveyard in the witching hour! Go into the haunted house if you dare!
