I always knew I was different, even at birth. My skin a purplish - blue instead of red from the lack of oxygen in my mother's womb. As I lay here in the bitter cold snow, in my dying moments, I realized that difference was dangerous. The life of a Prophecy Child wasn't a painless one, you're life was in danger every day, every minute, and every second. The lives of your loved ones were in danger. I looked up at my friends and sister. I felt as though I were on drugs, their faces appeared hazy and blurred. I closed my eyes, their voices seemed far off.

Destiny, a young girl who is in the 6th grade is about to find out the truth…about everything. She is the child of a prophecy, a prophecy everyone has been waiting for her line of ancestors to fulfill. But each one of them has failed to complete the prophecy. Now it’s Destiny's turn to take on the prophecy, but not without the help of her evil assistant principal, Mr. Stokes. Destiny soon finds out just how evil her assistant principal is, he attempts to kill her repeatedly, but her friends help keep her safe, along with a mysterious boy named Strix. Destiny is captured due to one stupid decision, which leaves her hanging on the edge of death. Will she be saved, or will she too fail to fulfill the prophecy?

Destenie is a twelve year old who enjoys reading and writing and believes in spending quality time with her family. She was born in San Antonio Texas. She has always enjoyed challenges and helping those in need. She has always been an easy-going person with a big heart for man and animals. Her goal is to one day become a pediatrics surgeon.
