The next few years were challenging, but God was still leading and encouraging me through songs and poems. I always felt that as each writing came, he was speaking to me. It lifted me up just to think he cared that much for me. With a Song in My Heart With a song in my heart I have learned to face each day When the sun is shining bright or the skies have turned to gray Fair is the morning with the dew upon the ground Where love and mercy meet and grace can still be found God gives strength to the weary, light when the way grows dim For He never changes, there is no shadow of turning in Him I can find strength to quench life’s fiery dart As I begin each day with a song in my heart.

About the Book
A WALK WITH GOD is a partial autobiography in which the author shares some of her life experiences, including her recovery from childhood polio. Follow her journey through adulthood as she faces many challenges, and discovers a true relationship with Jesus that offers hope, not only in this life, but eternally. (I Corinthians 15:19 - "If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable").
About the Author
The author is a lifetime citizen and retiree of the state of West Virginia, and a member of Apostolic Life Cathedral in Huntington, WV. She is thankful and proud of her family - a daughter, son-in-law, two grandchildren and a grand"pup". She expresses her joy as a servant of the true and living God, and desires to share some of her experiences with the hope it will be an encouragement to others.
