About the Book

The book starts with the meeting of two people in different worlds. Melanie Johnson, an associate editor and columnist of her father’s newspaper company in Manila and Luis Bermudez, a rebel convict from the South of the Philippines meet for the first time in a most unusual place, prison. Although it was merely a passing fancy for Melanie, for Luis, a fascination turns into deep, sincere and passionate love which prompted him to escape from prison to seek his love if only to tell her how much he loves her.
