It is a matter of common knowledge that the harvest is always the culmination of all the efforts that farmers put into their work. For lack of clarity, the harvest has often been perceived as one big event without distinct parts to it. However, the harvest of old in the land of Palestine; comprised of 3 major parts. 1. The Harvest of the First fruit 2. The General Harvest 3. The Final Reaping. Each of these phases of harvest has spiritual significance in God's timetable of events of the end time. This book explores this subject in relation to revivals, what it means and what are the prerequisites of a true Apostolic Revival or Spiritual Awakening. The Lord said, “I will pour out My Spirit, in the last days, upon all flesh.” This, He began at Pentecost, but Pentecost was only a minor beginning. Before the Lord Jesus comes for His church, the Holy Spirit is going to step into the church in immanence, in power, and in His full glory. He is going to prepare the church for the coming of the Lord Jesus because the Lord is not coming for a defeated church or a church that is still struggling in sin and divisions. He is coming for a glorious church without spot nor wrinkle. The dimensions of outpouring of God's Spirit in this end times will be dependent on how desirous the church is for his presence. After the earth has opened its mouth due to dryness and desired rain from the Lord, the former and latter rains of revival are the fulfillment of this desire. Isaiah 37:3b “…..for the children are come to birth, and there is not strength to bring forth”. May it never be said of today’s church that we came close to birth and had no strength to bring forth. About the Author
As a Bible Expositor, Dr. Victor T. Nyarko has authored 12 books within the past decade and keeps writing as the Lord leads him into deep spiritual insights and practical application of scripture in the most simplistic way. Dr. Nyarko holds undergraduate, graduate and post graduate degrees from the University of Ghana, Stony Brook University and Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR).
