Veredicto is a courtroom drama. A highly motivated detective is intent on resolving the death of a young student. In the course of his investigation, he stumbles upon one of the biggest drug rings in the county and brings the killer to justice. He must face Judge David Neto, a young and newly-appointed judge who in many ways resembles him. Both men share an uncompromising respect for justice that leaves them both doubtful about the defendant’s guilt, even after the jury’s verdict. Neither one of them could have imagined the sinister aspirations of the depraved mind behind the murder. A suspenseful read.

About the Author

Eralides E. Cabrera is a practicing attorney in New Jersey. He is a graduate of Fordham University and Brooklyn Law School. He is the author of fictional novels, mostly mystery and suspense. Among his other works are Lost Generation, Res Ipsa, Pleasant Valley, Rainy Faces and Cuando llegó septiembre, a story in the Spanish language.
