About the Illustrator:

Dawnyelle Moore has loved creating stories with her artist talents since she could hold a crayon. Born in Largo, Florida, she spent several years changing her major in college and finally found her passion in teaching after taking a job at a Visual Performing Arts Charter school in Palmetto, Florida. She finds herself constantly inspired by her students.

Mrs. Moore later moved to Six Mile, South Carolina where she currently lives with her husband and two beautiful babies. There she teaches Art to middle and high school students. In addition to teaching and being a mother, she enjoys collecting junk for her assemblages.

This is her first adventure in children's illustration.
