About the Book

Guaranteed to brighten the day of both friends and relatives, Roy Schlemme’s astute visual observations and wry commentary on the human condition provide a wonderfully entertaining respite from the humdrum of our everyday routine. As for those who’d like to see a bit more of Schlemme’s work, three other books (Skewed Views, Skewed Views Too and The Moon’s First Banana) are also available gift-giving ideas ideal for those with a slightly bent sense of humor.

About the Author

Roy Schlemme, an award-winning New York Area commercial artist has, over the years, created humorous graphics for a broad range of clients. Included have been major ad agencies, publishing houses and corporations. Most recently, he has focused in the educational area working with juvenile market producers of games and toys. Humor has always been an identifying mark in his design pieces and cartoons have always been a first love. Consequently, it was a natural step for Schlemme to eventually assemble his drawings in book form. His initial effort, 'Skewed Views' (also produced through 1stBooks) looked at our interpersonal relationships and how we cope with the challenges of the world around us.
