About the Book
This is an account of the circumstances and events that lead to the author’s landing on Utah Beach during the invasion of Normandy by the Allied Forces in World War II as he has remembered them, sixty-some years later.
About the Author
The author is a native of Chicago. He has lived in California many years and now lives in Southern California with his wife Alla Mykhaylivna, a native of the city of Kiev, Ukraine and their one-eared cat Barabashka (Patronymic in question), a native of St. Petersburg, Russia. He has been writing for his own amusement since 1989 and now has a number of books published. He was in the Army from October 1941 to January 1946 and has four battle stars on his ETO Campaign Ribbon.
