This book is about twin brothers and their wonderful and close relationship even as adults. Pop Potatoes talks the townspeople in Black River City into fixing up an old house so that his twin brother, Uncle Tomatoes, can live in the same town as he does, and they can be together forever. Uncle Tomatoes is a magician, and Pop Pop Potatoes owns Pop Pop Potatoes’ Good Luck Café on Kitty Cat Lane.

About the Author

This is the third book in a series titled Stories on the Front Steps. This story is a continuation of characters and their adventures. The premise of Stories on the Front Steps is that when the author was a child, her father told stories to her and her siblings every evening on the front steps. Her father was blind and so instead of books with pictures, the children listened to his stories with the funny characters and used their imagination as to just what they looked like.
