As always, the author's father told meaningful and inspirational stories on the the front steps on summer evenings. In each story, the lesson would be to be a good person, kind and treat people with respect and dignity. Another lesson learned was that just because you are handicapped (the author's father was completely blind), it does not mean the life stops for you. One can always continue on, live life to the fullest and contribute.

About the Book
In this story, Little Pickles and her dog, Clumpy, are now in the 5th grade. They have formed a club called The Dream-Kidz Club. In each story, the Dream-Kidz perform a good deed and help fellow classmates. Even Clumpy helps a kitten find her way home.

This is the sixth book in the series “Stories on the Front Steps. “ The author’s father told stories to the author and 3 siblings in the summer on the front steps. He was blind and used his imagination.
