"Popov, I am sure you know why I am here. You never come to a meeting unprepared, so I will not waste any time. I need to purchase an arsenal of weapons so I can deploy these weapons and use force to achieve my political objective," Pham Do informed Popov. "Pham Do, what is your political objective?" Popov asked. "My political objective is to destroy the United States." Pham Do stated. "Do you mean that literally?" Popov asked. "My major political purpose of these nuclear weapons is to deter resistance to my coalition forces and prevent a confrontation by threat and intimidation. However, I will use force if necessary. By the time my plan is fully implemented, the United States will not be of much use to anyone regardless of whether I deploy nuclear weapons," Pham Do explained. "Pham Do, you must be very cautious, otherwise, you will blow up yourself in the process. My nuclear arsenal that I am prepared to sell you is so powerful that you will be able to inflict on the homeland of the United States an enormous amount of damage. You will not recognize the United States if this firepower is unleashed." Popov predicted. "Pham Do, my arsenal has the capacity to destroy between one-fifth and one-third of the United States population and between one-half and three-fourths of the United States industry," Popov warned. "Pham Do, the nuclear explosions that you would unleash would cause massive damage to the Earth s environment. These explosions would create intense fires that would spew so much material into the air that the sunlight would be blocked out. This blockage of sunlight would produce a nuclear winter that would have fatal consequences to the world population. Pham Do, that would include you!" Popov warned. "Pham Do, you must consider the uncertainty affecting the question of whether nuclear conquest is possible," Popov cautioned. "Popov, enough of the lecture! I will do what I have to do! Will you sell me the arsenal?" Pham Do shouted. "Pham Do, I will sell you the arsenal for the right price," Popov stated. "Pham Do, what type of explosive capacity do you need?" Popov asked. "I presume you have fission or atomic bombs and fusion or hydrogen bombs?" Pham Do asked. "Pham Do, I have both in my arsenal. Hydrogen bombs are more powerful than atomic bombs. The current demand around the world is for explosives based on fusion," Popov explained. "Popov, give me hydrogen bombs!" Pham Do directed.
