Candy loved to bake, with her mother. There was alway's a time for what ever Candy wanted her mother to bake. The favorite sweet, was her gingerbread men. Oh how Candy thought, of the sprinkle's on them magical and awfully good to eat.

About the Book
Welcome to my first picture book called Magical Gingerbread Man. This story is centered around a real life situation and how dreams and fantasies can be reasoned out. I also enjoyed working with my niece Reneé Fox and her friend William Mendibles. I found the pictures very realistic and enhances the meaning of the story. I hope that this book is one that will be read not just once but several times , and wanted to be owned by every child.
About the Author
My name is Marie Hilley and I am from Fort Washington Md. This is my first picture book, but I also have written and published a children’s book of short storys and my first volume of an Poetry Anthology. I have received certificates of Merit in a writers competition for my Poetry Anthology Volume 1 and a Short Story called “Octopuss” out of my Children’s Short Story Book. The competition was the Writers Digest Zine and I am on their website also. I thank First Books library for helping me to succeed in my writing endeavors.
