You Can’t Do It, But I Did It...
You just can’t do it; this is what they say to me...
I proved them wrong each and every time they have said it to me...yes, I did it...
You just can’t do it...
They told me that I would never make a name for myself well I did it...
You just can’t do it...
They said my words would never make a difference, well my words are being read by many today and they are making a world of difference to those that read them, I guess I did it...
You just can’t do it...
They said that I’d never get very far in this life, well I proved them wrong again, for in my dreams I have climbed of the highest mountains on this Earth, one dream at a time, but I did it...
You just can’t do it...
They said I would never be rich or famous, well I’m far richer than they are, for I have the love of many, to be famous well I guess I am, for many call me by name, I love it..., for once more they said I could not do it, but I did it...
You just can’t do it...
They said I would never be able to escape of my past, well once again I proved them wrong, for an escape I do have from the past, a world that I built with my words to escape from it all, but in my world the escape is getting the release from the past and I’m writing all of it down so that it all can be seen clearly, one word at a time, but I’m doing it...
You just can’t do it...
I say to each of them if it can be done, they had better believe, I’ll do of my best to do it...

I Fight...
I fight to see the truth in all that I do...
I fight to be free from my past with all I do...
I fight every day and night to be me...
I fight the tears that want to flow from these eyes, for I do not want others to see how weak I can be...
I fight to be me and I fight to break free but most of all, I fight to help others see...
I fight the voices that are in this head of mine, for they are not of my ways...
I fight the hate that is often around me each and every day...
I fight the fears that have been placed upon me from past days...
I fight to live with each and every passing day and night...
I fight the lies and the shame they say I have caused, for I know, I have my rights...
I fight the labels and the judgment that others always place upon one...
I fight and I fight and some day or night all that I fight will be won...
