A graphic artist and cartoonist, Daniel Roberts is a life-long resident of the state of Iowa. He has had his cartoons published in various magazines, including “Woman’s World”, "The Saturday Evening Post", “Rural Heritage” and in King Features Syndicate's "The New Breed" comic strip. Roberts has had a number of political cartoons and a continuing comic strip named "Haley's Comment" appear in the publication "Toons". He also does cartoons for the "Cousin Rick Says" newspaper column. He has written and illustrated the cartoon books "The Funny Side of Hunting & Fishing", “Kitty’s Laws: Murphy’s Laws for Cat Owners” and “Canine’s Laws: Murphy’s Laws for Dog Owners”. His children's picture books include "There's a Cookie Stuck to my Nose!", "The Santa Claus Easter Bunny Switch", “Chicken in the Hen House: A Counting Book”, “Harrison and his Robot Dinosaur”, “The Places I’ve been and the Things I’ve seen” and "The Great Dino-Circus". He has also illustrated the children’s books “Do Fish Sneeze?” (by published poet Jean Tweed) and "Little Mother Goose".
