About the Author

Don Crockett is a man who has taken a journey of discovery over his lifetime. Admitting that it was an up hill battle at times, he can now look back and say that the best of times were indeed very good. Born in the very small town of Auxvasse, Missouri, in 1936 and raised from the age of eleven years old in the small, mountain town of Ashland, Oregon. After much traveling to places too numerous to mention, he finally put his shoes in one place at the age of fifty-seven years in

yet another small town of Roseburg, Oregon.

Since retiring, he still continues to work full-time and tries to get in some much needed fishing and hunting. However, most of all he enjoys having some time to write and having his works read by his many fans. His Diana series and the latest, “Oh God, It’s Wine” novel has reached new sales heights. Even now he has several more either written or in the planning stages.

Naturally he hopes that someday he might see one of his works come to life on the big screen, but even that will not bring a smile as much as someone who tells him how much they have enjoyed reading one of his books.

As he had stated before when his friends have asked why he doesn’t write about his varied and colorful life, the answer is always the same. The book would not be complete until the last page of the last day, hour and second have been lived to the fullest. And he adds, that

just isn’t in the plan yet!
