Waiting for Lɷve

So many thoughts scrambling my mind at one time that I completely draw a blank of what I’m supposed to do. “Oh my God, what am I supposed to do?” I thought to myself. When the doors of the sanctuary opened it was like a breath of fresh air. My dad took the first step but my feet didn’t move. It was like they were glued to the floor. I stood there with a Miss America smile on my face, but I couldn’t move. There were flashing lights coming from cameras in every direction of the room. Just when it seemed like I didn’t recognize any of the faces in there, I met the eyes of my knight and shining armor glowing at the altar. He was standing there holding a crystal microphone with two golden swine intertwined into a heart shape. His bald head was as shiny as a brand new Rose Royce fresh off the car lot. The blue in his suit was so royal that it reflected his buttery caramel complexion. When he smiled, his teeth glistened like million dollar jewels in a crown of a king. When his eyes connected with mine they made me burn with want and desire. As he sang a verse of the song his deep soothing voice dominated the chapel and I felt the joy bells ringing in my soul. Then, I took a dainty step towards my destiny.
