About the Book

This book is full of pages of wisdom. Memories of the author’s life, of her parents, children, and grandchildren fill the pages of all her many treasures this author has written for her book. As a Starlite Café member on the Internet this author has been able to compete in many challenges and even win some of the contests. She has a chapter of all her entries and winning poems in this book. The author likes to write inspirational poems. Being a very compassionate person she writes of Mother Nature, Love, and Animals and of life in general. Sometimes she writes of fantasy and magical dreams and many humorous stories. Her late husband, Frank A. Pellegrino also an author of poetry always inspired her and she promised him she would do her best to carry on his legacy of writing poems. One chapter is a tribute to his iife and how she found a way to say good-bye as he entered his eternal home. This author hopes that all who read this book would find a lot of pleasure and enjoyment as they read her many pages of written treasures she is sharing with husband, family and friends too.


About the Author

Aliceanne Pellegrino-Henricks was born in Bloomington, Indiana and lived there until 2001 when she married Frank A Pellegrino and moved to Niagara Falls, New York. After her late husband’s death in 2006, She remarried George B. Henricks in 2009 on Valentine’s Day. A beautiful life of love and togetherness makes for their happy marriage. The author is a mother of two children, Tim L. Gilmore and Marianne Gilmore, Jordan. Both children gave her two Grandsons, Timothy Lewis Gilmore II and Zachary Michael Jordan. The author is the daughter of William A. and Virginia A. Davidson, also of Bloomington and now deceased. She has 4 brothers, William M. [Ellettsville] Edward L. [now deceased] Larry C.[Bloomington], and John M. Davidson [South Carolina].. The author is a Graduate of Bloomington High School and attended Indiana University. Her degree is in the field of Optometry with an emphasis on children’s learning disabilities and teaching how to get the eye and brain working together. Her desire is to write a book on “The Confusion Between the Eye and the Brain”. The author likes to writes about her children, grandchildren and the beauty of life, nature and love. She also likes to write humorous stories. The author also enjoys writing, playing the piano and organ and being a down to earth housewife. With all the sadness in the world this author enjoys writing about beautiful things and positive ideas.
