The novel “Murder in Academe” is a mystery about a faculty member at Indiana University, Bloomington. The victim, assistant professor George Blake, is shot to death in his own home. Joyce Elliot, a good friend and colleague of Blake, eventually discovers the identity of the murderers. The novel is also concerned with Elliot’s research on global warming and on her love affairs.


About the Author

Don Light is the pen name of a professor emeritus of physics at Indiana University. He retired after thirty years of service. Since his retirement, he has written five novels, including the present one. His previous novels have the titles, The Runners, The Physics of Murder, The Deep Green Society, and The Red Chestnut Bookstore, all of which are available from Authorhouse or from Amazon.com
