These books are simple yet full of meaning. Based on our animals we have on our small ranch. I watch some of the situations they actually get into, which inspires some of these stories.That in turn helps teach some of the little lessons in life which we all want to instill in children. Filled with humor and Lots of beautiful, colorful drawings that children and adults will love. This book is based around springtime and Easter. When our Red hen flies over the fence to lay her egg she gets lots of offers to help sit and wait for it to hatch, although she turns it down and takes responsibilty for her egg.

About the Book
This story is about one of our hens and her egg she laid. She gets offers from the animals to help but takes responsibility for her egg. This little hen does actually fly over the fence every morning to have an egg. The story is written around Easter and the new beginnings this time of year can offer.
About the Author
As a mother and grandmother, I see books as a way to communicate with children and reinforce the lessons of life. We have a small ranch in NM, on which we have several different types of animals. I enjoy watching them with all their different personalities. I want to write books that when reading to our children and our grandchildren we laugh and the children laugh. My husband and I have five children between us four which are grown, Trey, Elizabeth, Christie, Sara and Joshua. Myself, my husband and Joshua moved to New Mexico from our home on the panhandle of Florida in 2010 due to my husband’s job on the Air force base. Another adventure in life as I look at it. We never know what our creator has planned for us. I have worked in the medical field for most of my adult life and look at me now writing stories for children which I so much enjoy.
