About the Book
Those elements of life that encounter us in people and events, in memories and nature, in the life of conviction and hope form the spawn of these poems. They mean to lead us again into life's happenstance afresh and with nuanced insight.
About the Author
I am a retired minister from the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) living in the hills of the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia. During the course of my ministry, I began writing poetry a little over thirty years ago. The process and the product alike have been favorable to me. I began a few years of attendance on the online poetry workshop Desert Moon Review in April 2004, finding that involvement helpful to me as a poet. I currently live in West Virginia with my wife of forty-six years, a pair of dogs, and a handful of cats. We have adopted a pair of ducks in recent months.
