The Adventures of Freddie the Little Fire Dragon: The Lemonade Stand

Pages 14-15:

After dinner, Freeddie's mother said, "Bath time. You have a big day tomorrow."

Freddie's mother was sitting on the big couch knitting when she heard Freddie call out, "We're all clean."

Minutes later they were all sitting in the living room watching Giggle Toons.

When Giggle Toons ended, Freddie's mother said, "Bedtime."

"Mommy, can Tanga sleep in my room tonight?"

"Yes."

As Freddie was being tucked under the covers, he said, "Mommy, I'm all excited about tomorrow. I love you, Mommy."

"I love you too, Freddie. I'm sure it's going to be a fun day for all of us. Goodnight, Freddie. Sweet dreams."

Before she could say goodnight to Tanga, who had already crawled under Freddie's bed with his pillow, a muffled voice called out, "Goodnight."

"Goodnight, Tanga. Sweet dreams."

freddie was awakened by the chirping of the birds in the tree branches outside his window. He hopped out of his bed and headed to his bedroom window. While he was staring at the rays of the morning sun that poked through the branches of the trees in the yard, he heard Tanga's voice.

"Freddie, is it time to get up already?"

"Yes. The sun is up and shining. Let's go to the kitchen for some breakfast. Today is lemonade day!"

After breakfast, Freddie's mother brought all of the lemonade ingredients to the table and said, "I think we have enough ingredients to make two big pitchers of lemonade. I'm going to need your help."
