And for all those lucky people who live and work in the beautiful state of Oregon, especially for the residents of Roseburg, Oregon, then this will be one to have in your collection. Remember, sometimes your wildest dreams do come true, even in this crazy world we live in.

About the Author

Don Crockett is a man who has taken a journey of

discovery over his lifetime. Admitting that it was an

up hill battle at times, he can now look back and say

that the best of times were indeed very good. Born in

the very small town of Auxvasse, Missouri, in 1936, and

raised from the age of eleven years old in the small,

mountain town of Ashland, Oregon. After much traveling to

places too numerous to mention, he finally put his shoes in

one place at the age of fifty-seven years in yet another small mountain town of Roseburg, Oregon.

Since retiring, he still continues to work full-time

and tries to get in some much needed fishing and hunting.

Most of all he enjoys having some time to write and having

his works read by his many fans. His Diana series has

proven to be very popular and now he has several more novels finished and ready to publish. He hopes that someday

he will see one of his works come to life on the big screen, or perhaps television, but even that will not bring a smile as much as someone who tells him how much they enjoy reading one of his books.

Many of his friends have asked why he doesn’t write

about his own varied and colorful life, but the answer is

always the same. The book would not be completed until the last page of the last hour and the last second had been lived to the fullest.
