The Proverbial Marriage

Where are you? In many cases, we are all on a journey. So far many of us have not determined or even know why we are here. We have observed others get married and have taken it as a course of life. We never truly examined why we are traveling this road, nor did we search to build the relationships as God has ordained it. Nevertheless we are here. It is now important for us to find out where we are on this journey, discover truly who we have decided to bring on as our partner and learn how we can make the best and enjoy the rest of the journey together.

The Godly concept of marriage  is “two people who had separate lives, upbringings and believes are coming together to learn to live and love each other for the rest of their lives”. That has been twisted to “two people who violate each other severally, before deciding to live together for economic reasons or a common social contract that may be tossed out at the slightest inconvenience or emotional challenges with prenuptials intact”.

You should read this book because you need to understand marriage to be a covenant, with God, your spouse and you. You want to define where you are going with your spouse and how to make your journey  a great experience.
