About the Book

This is my second poetry book. This book is about the spirit of Sappho torn between two lovers. It has a story line about how Sappho meets one of her lovers. It gives you an inside look of her emotional stages. Sappho was born around 630 BC. Sappho was under appreciated after she left this earth. Most of Sappho’s poetry was destroyed. Plato referred to Sappho as the “Tenth Muse.” I encourage everyone to try to get to know Sappho. Go on the internet and read about her story. She was a Greek Goddess that created unbelievable beauty, but most of all, she had an inner beauty and love for mother earth. She loved to write poems about her lovers, earth, and her life. Many men and women will walk away fascinated about her and her lifestyle. Many men and women will go on forever fascinated by Sappho’s rare beauty. This book will also let you get to know some of my friends and family. I even mention their full names. I am wondering what Sappho will tell me next!
