It had been one dog-year since the graduation party at Goldie’s house when the pack made their pact. Goldie Retriever and Scotty Shepard were in charge of putting the reunion together for the Lassie High School class of 2005. They had been working closely together and were developing feelings for each other.
The dogs started arriving around nine or so and were milling about. Bear Malamute muzzled up to the spread of dog food. “Wow, look at this spread. Alpo, Purina, Iams, and Puppy Chow. Man, they just don’t serve this kind of grub in the military.” Bear Malamute was wolfing down large chunks of food, moving back and forth between the different bowls. You’d have thought he had never eaten before.
“Bear, slow down, dog. There’s plenty for everyone,” Scotty Shepard said. Bear Malamute just uttered a low growl and bared his teeth.
Okay, okay. But I like your haircut," Scotty Shepard said.
Bear Malamute looked up from the Puppy Chow, liking his chops and smiling. “Sorry. It’s just that, in the military, you have to be aggressive about your food or some other dog eats it. And you know that they shave your coat down a bit. I miss my thick coat, to be honest with you.”
Just then a bunch of barking and howling came from the dogs at the reunion. Catcalls, you might say.
“What is everyone howling about?” Goldie Retriever asked as she trotted up to both Bear Malamute and Scotty Shepard. As she finished her sentence, all three could see what the commotion and ruckus was about: Damsel Poodle.
Damsel Poodle had just arrived, and she was something to behold. She walked—more like sauntered—into the reunion. She was well-groomed, wearing an expensive diamond collar with her muzzle firmly upward. A group of dogs were following her as she walked up to Goldie Retriever, Bear Malamute, and Scotty Shepard.
“Hello,” she said as she walked around in a circle. “How do I look?”
Bear Malamute started to wag his tail and bark. Clearly, he was impressed.
“Well, Dammy, you look great. Just like you did at Lassie High. You were always beautiful,” Goldie Retriever said. Scotty Shepard just sat there with his tongue hanging out of his mouth when he wasn’t barking.
“Where’s the rest of the pack?” she said.
“Not here yet. But have some dog food,” Goldie Retriever said.
“Oh no. Gotta watch the figure, you know.”

Yuvi Shmul is a small business investor, intermediary, and owner. Additionally he is a consultant, coach, visionary and an author. He has worked with a Wall Street firm as a financial analyst but the call of the “entrepreneurial spirit” took him to the southwest where he began investing in small businesses. He used his experience as a small business owner to partner with two other entrepreneurs developing one of the largest private wireless chains—Yakety Yak Wireless. Currently, he and his partners have franchises and licenses in several states and are expanding rapidly. After a few years of hard work, he accomplished his goal and wants to help you accomplish yours.
Yuvi is an entrepreneur, works with many of them and knows what they are made of. Moreover, his “Make It Big With Yuvi” company has helped many people develop their “entrepreneurial spirit”. With his comprehensive experience in small business from buying to selling and everything in between, Yuvi is able to articulate and teach what it takes to succeed on one’s own merit.
